As a serial entrepreneur who previously built a corporate career in Dubai, Vineet Baveja didn't grow up with pets of his own. Instead, his perspective came from watching his brother, close friends, neighbors, and clients struggle daily with pet care, and quality boarding. He saw firsthand the anxiety, logistical hurdles, and frustration pet parents faced—and when he looked at traditional options, he saw cramped cages, improvised residential villas, and a fragmented industry lacking real standards. As India progresses rapidly with an exploding pet population, Vineet recognised a critical gap: pets were becoming integral family members, but the infrastructure supporting them hadn't evolved. Drawing on years of business experience and real client insights, he launched Petqy as his latest venture to fix a broken system.
